EUREKA
A conflict resolution training program offered to grade 5-7 students so that youth experience more respectful, considerate and healthy peer relationships.
EUREKA is an engaging, community-based, two-day workshop for grade 5-7 students that supports youth in learning alternatives to violence through participatory activities, games, role-playing, stories and discussion.
EUREKA
- Is marketed to schools in a 200 km radius around Grande Prairie
- Teachers call to book their workshop and set up a meeting to discuss what their class needs
- Workshops are held in community locations rather than classrooms
- Classes that complete the EUREKA workshop are offered the 5 session EUREKA Follow Up program that reinforces the teachings of the workshop.
- Students and teachers have consistently reported positive learning and outcomes from the EUREKA program
